Homeless Assistance and Other Services:
Michigan 2-1-1: A free service that connects Michigan residents with help and answers from thousands of health and human services agencies and resources right in their communities.
Housing Assessment and Resource Agency (HARA) Contact List: Individual housing needs assessments and service referrals are done through a single, centralized Housing Assessment and Resource Agency (HARA) in every community. Each HARA has a Housing Resource Specialist that works with individuals to gather information to determine both need and eligibility and then connect them to services, as appropriate.
Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS): The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) administers dozens of programs to improve the health, safety and prosperity of state residents. MDHHS works hand-in-hand with hundreds of partners at the local and regional levels to provide these needed services.
