CLIENTS SERVED:  A Senior housing apartment complex designed for homeless male veterans aged 55 and older. The Home will help provide a place for our homeless veterans who have served honorably.

DESCRIPTION: This facility is located in the city of Ecorse, Michigan. The Gary L. Miles Veteran’s Home is an apartment building designed for military veterans aged 30 years of age and older. The facility consists of 11 single occupancy apartments. The Gary L. Miles Veteran’s Home will help provide a place for our veterans who have served honorably. The surrounding area offers convenient access to local banking facilities, the U.S. Postal Service, places of worship, parks, grocery retailers, major freeways and nearby medical facilities and access to nearby bus lines.

SERVES / PROGRAMS:  The Gary Miles Veterans Home, located in Ecorse, MI, provides support for veterans of the US Armed Forces. Veteran Services connects veterans with several government agencies and nonprofit organizations at the federal, Michigan state, and Ecorse level. These services include veteran benefits assistance, services for veterans with disabilities, and information about medical care, insurance, and education benefits. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) also provides veteran services in Ecorse.
