Hill-Burton Free or Reduced-Cost Care
The Hill-Burton program provides free or reduced-cost health care to eligible individuals based on income and family size. To qualify for free care, your income must be at or below the current Federal Poverty Guidelines, while for reduced-cost care, your income can be up to twice the poverty level. Facilities participating in the Hill-Burton program are required to offer a specific amount of  free or below-cost health care to those unable to pay.
