Services to Empower Survivors of Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, and Human Trafficking

Turning Point Services:  Our free, confidential services are inclusive and accessible to honor the unique needs, identities, and experiences of individuals who identify as a survivor of domestic violence, sexual violence, or human trafficking.

Turning Point’s emergency shelter provides temporary housing for survivors and their children who are fleeing from domestic violence, sexual violence, or human trafficking. The shelter is a secure, handicapable building with 52 beds and 13 bedrooms.

On average, shelter provides a safe haven for over 500 survivors and their children annually.
Shelter provides a safe haven for survivors of all genders and orientations.
Shelter residents have access to 24-hour advocacy, support, and resources.
The children’s program also provides counseling, activities, and outings for families.
Thanks to a community partnership, survivors do not have to worry about the safety of their pets when entering shelter, as pets can be housed safely off site.
