The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office East Annex personnel and trustee crews refurbish, and repair donated bicycles. The Sheriff’s Office makes them available to persons in need at no cost through organizations such as the Pontiac Point of Hope, the South Oakland Shelter,  the Boys and Girls Club of SE Oakland County, Easter Seals, Michigan, Inc., and the Lighthouse of Oakland County. Additionally, Re-CYCLE for Kids provides bikes at no cost to children in need who attend St. Michael’s Church in Pontiac and St. Vincent de Paul in Pontiac in honor of program founder Chuck Morin.
