KENTUCKY CANCER LINK
The mission of Kentucky CancerLink is to reduce barriers to screening, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. We strive to be a link to hope for Kentuckians and make a meaningful impact on cancer incidence and mortality. Our current programs are designated for Kentucky residents ages 18 and older. Financial assistance for transportation, mastectomy supplies, wigs, patient navigation for cancer screenings, and other needs for low-income cancer patients who are uninsured or underinsured.
Cancer Screening:
Early detection is key to finding cancer in earlier and more treatable stages! We can help connect you with free and/or low-cost screenings for breast, cervical, colon, ovarian, and lung cancer.
Fuel Card Program:
Kentucky CancerLink’s fuel card program helps Kentuckians travel to their cancer-related appointments. We are able to offer gas cards to individuals at or below 250% of the FPL guidelines based on household income. This program is dependent on funding, so we are always looking for donors to support!
Wig & Headwear Bank:
Losing your hair during treatment can take a toll on your physical and emotional well-being. We are happy to offer wigs and headwear at no cost to cancer patients. Check out our catalog here
Post Lumpectomy/Mastectomy Products / Lymphedema Compression Garments:
Kentucky CancerLink can provide free bras, protheses and camisoles to women who have undergone a lumpectomy/mastectomy. As inventory allows, we also offer free upper extremity lymphedema compression garments.
