HOME MODIFICATIONS FOR VETERANS BY HOMES FOR VETERANS 

Homes for Veterans (HFV) modifies the homes of disabled veterans to help their heroes live barrier-free in their own homes.

This program provides:  Accessibility modifications

Modifications can include: Ramps, Wheelchair accessible bathrooms, ADA kitchen adaptations, Elevator installation.

You MUST be registered with the Department of Veteran Affairs and apply for a VA adaptable housing grant, if you’re eligible, before we can assist you.  You must have an honorable discharge and a DD214. 

This program covers residents of the following states: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV and WY.
