Gary’s House is a safe, comfortable, and affordable home-away-from-home for families and individuals with loved ones receiving medical treatment in the greater Portland area.

Open to all:
You can stay at Gary’s House if you or a loved one are receiving care at Mercy, Maine Medical Center, or any other area healthcare facility.

A referral is needed:
All guests at Gary’s House must be referred by a hospital or practice representative. You can make a referral by completing our online referral form.   A representative from Gary’s House will contact you to discuss availability and schedule a time for you to check-in.

Conveniently located:
Located in a Federal-style home in Portland’s historic West End, Gary’s House is conveniently located to Northern Light Mercy and other area hospitals.
