About Our Organization:
Fire Victims United (FVU) is a non-profit organization whose inception began in 2012 with its Chairman and CEO, Antonio Hayden. Mr. Hayden has built a strong network of firefighters, volunteers, and donators, while providing basic necessities, temporary shelter, and furniture to local Detroit fire victims--all with the goal of reducing the devastation of loss associated with residential fires affecting the Motor City.
Need Our Help?
Are you or someone you know the victim of a fire tragedy that resulted in the loss of basic necessities or property? We’re here to help.
The first 24-72 hours after a residential fire are crucial because many fire victims are at a complete loss as to where to go, who to contact for assistance, and how to start to rebuild their lives. The support and resources that Fire Victims United provides can ease the transition and expedite the healing process.
