A non-profit organization, founded on Christian values, composed of men & women who volunteer their time and talents to provide those in need with minor household repairs that help with safety issues at home. Additionally, they provide information and resources for issues beyond their scope of services via Julie’s List.
St Joseph’s Helpers volunteers install home accessibility modifications (railings, bannisters & ramps, shower bars, etc) and work on minor electric, plumbing, and carpentry repairs. They serve Seniors, Veterans, people with disabilities, and those facing hardships in southeastern Michigan and central Kentucky, with plans to expand services to other regions.
For any requests that St Joseph’s Helpers is unable to provide help towards, clients will be offered the option to have their request reviewed by the Information & Resources department to see if there may be other programs or agencies that could help.
To make a repair request or inquire about information & resources, call the office or fill out the online Request.
