CLIENTS SERVED: Our organization specializes in training and providing Service Dogs for disabled American Veterans who suffer from Mobile Disabilities, Traumatic Brain injuries and or Post-Traumatic Stress.

DESCRIPTION:  At Patriot PAWS, we train and provide Service Dogs of the highest quality at no cost to help these men and women take back their independence.

SERVICES / PROGRAMS:

Public Access Working Dogs:
Our highly-trained Public Access Working Dogs are held to rigorous standards set by Assistance Dogs International (ADI). They’re specifically trained to help mitigate the disabilities of American Veterans and assist them with daily tasks, improving their physical and emotional independence.

In-Home Working Dogs:
In-Home Working Dogs are trained to assist their Veterans with specific tasks within the home. Unlike Public Access Service Dogs, In-Home Working Dogs do not have public access and are not permitted to work in locations outside the home. However, they provide valuable assistance and support to their Veterans throughout their daily lives.

Facility Dogs:                                                                                                                                                                                                              Facility dogs serve as caring ambassadors for both staff and clients in a variety of professional settings, including police and fire departments, courthouses, mental health facilities, hospitals, and other community service organizations. Their presence helps reduce stress, provide comfort, foster trust, and support positive interactions during challenging situations.

Family Dog Adoption:
Patriot PAWS will also sometimes have trained dogs that are ready for adoption as family pets, depending on our availability.
