Blue Grass Community Action Partnership has been dedicated to empowering individuals and families by providing essential programs and services that enhance their quality of life. From meeting basic needs, like food and clothing, to offering resources that promote long-term self-sufficiency, we are here to help you build a brighter future.

Serving Anderson, Boyle, Franklin, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Mercer, Scott, and Woodford counties, many of our programs are available at little or no cost to the client. Our mission is to support you on your journey toward independence because we believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute to their community.

Senior Companion Program: Provides meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals 55+ with an hourly stipend for qualifying volunteers.

Senior Citizen Centers: Community hubs for those 60+ offering meals, transportation, health programs, and social activities. We offer locations in Anderson, Bourbon, Garrard, Jessamine, Mercer, Scott and Woodford Counties.

Senior Employment: Offers job training and employment assistance for qualified unemployed individuals 55+, including a paid 20-hour/week program.

Elder Nutrition Program: Provides nutritious congregate or home-delivered meals to those 60+ within our 17-county region. For congregate meals, contact your local Senior Center and for home-delivered meals, call ADRC at 866-665-7921.

Foster Grandparent Program: Senior volunteer opportunity to support children with special needs. Stipends available for eligible volunteers.

Transportation:
We can get you there. BGCAP provides easy and affordable public and Medicaid-related transportation. We’re also pleased to provide regional and local routes in select Kentucky counties.
