CLIENTS SERVED: Individuals and families, especially single mothers and children, experiencing significant hardship who need help meeting basic needs.

DESCRIPTION: Debbie’s Closet is a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides basic necessities and financial support to people experiencing hardship. The organization grew out of its founder’s experience losing her family’s home and possessions in a house fire and receiving help from neighbors. Her son at, New Home Star founded the organization in his mother’s name.

SERVICES / PROGRAMS:

• Food: Provides food and basic supplies to people experiencing hardship.
• Clothing: Provides clothing and other essential items.
• Beds: Provides beds to people and families in need.
• Shelter: May provide or help with shelter-related needs.
• Financial Support: Provides financial assistance when resources are available.
• Emergency Hardship Assistance: The organization raises funds and supplies to assist individuals and families experiencing significant or unexpected hardships.
