CLIENTS SERVED: Disabled veteran homeowners who need accessibility modifications to make their homes safer and more accessible.

DESCRIPTION: Homes for Veterans provides barrier-free home modifications at no cost to eligible veterans or their families. Projects can address accessibility barriers, including major modifications, throughout the home.

SERVICES / PROGRAMS:

• Barrier-Free Home Modifications: Ramps, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, ADA kitchen adaptations, elevators, and other modifications designed to remove accessibility barriers.
• Home Repairs Related to Accessibility and Safety: The organization’s recent projects have included porch reconstruction, accessible showers, bathroom renovations, kitchen modifications, and other substantial home improvements for disabled veterans.
