CLIENTS SERVED: Underserved individuals, families, youth, and community members in need of mental-health support, essential resources, transportation assistance, and opportunities for community involvement.
DESCRIPTION: Take My Hand is a nonprofit dedicated to spreading love, building connections, and fostering collaboration among youth and adults. Its mission focuses on improving community mental health, empowering youth, creating safer environments, and providing resources to underserved individuals and families.
SERVICES & PROGRAMS:
- Mental Health Support: Provides mental-health awareness, resources, and connections to therapy and other support. Its “Therapy is L.I.T.” program helps connect people with therapy based on their individual needs and preferences.
- Transport to Success: Provides bus-ticket vouchers to qualifying low-income individuals who need transportation to or from work, school, or appointments. Bus tickets are dependent on donations and are distributed first-come, first-served each month.
- Generational Givers: Youth program for ages 10–16 that teaches leadership, compassion, community responsibility, and service through hands-on community projects.
- Kits of Love: A youth-led project providing hygiene kits containing items such as soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and wipes to students who may lack these necessities.
- Community Resources & Events: Hosts free community events and initiatives addressing needs such as mental health, basic necessities, youth support, and family assistance.
- Donated Goods: Accepts donated items and makes them available to people in need at no charge.

- Bus Tickets: Complete the Bus Ticket Request form. Tickets are subject to availability and donations.
- Generational Givers: Parents can register their children through the Generational Givers program.
