DESCRIPTION: MyRide2 is a free transportation information and referral service developed by AgeWays. It helps older adults and people with disabilities find transportation options suited to their mobility needs, including rides to medical appointments, shopping, employment, and social activities. MyRide2 helps coordinate transportation but does not directly operate a fleet of vehicles. There is no charge for MyRide2’s referral and coordination service, but transportation providers may charge fares or fees. Payment is made directly to the provider.

SERVICES / PROGRAMS:

• Transportation Referrals: Connects callers with public transit, nonprofit transportation services, private providers, and volunteer driver programs.
• Wheelchair-Accessible Transportation: Helps identify providers with wheelchair lifts or ramps and accessible vehicles.
• Door-to-Door Assistance: Helps locate providers offering curb-to-curb, door-to-door, or door-through-door assistance, depending on individual needs.
• Ride Coordination: Mobility specialists help callers compare options and may assist with scheduling transportation.
• Travel Training: Provides guidance for people learning or returning to public transportation use.
• Safe Driving Resources: Offers information about older-driver safety and planning for the transition away from driving.
