ALS takes away the ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe — but it can never take away courage or hope. Until there is a cure, people living with ALS and their loved ones deserve every possible resource, every moment of support, and every opportunity to live with dignity.

We are the world’s leading ALS organization, made up of volunteers who are living with ALS, loved ones, caregivers, advocates, and dedicated staff. Our goal is to make ALS livable and cure it.

On the ground in all 50 states, we are providing support for people living with ALS and their loved ones while funding the most promising ALS research in the world. We are also leading local and national advocacy efforts to deliver more funding for ALS research and better policies for those impacted by the disease.

Resources and Support:
Our nationwide network of ALS Association care teams and other partners provide people living with ALS and their family and loved ones with support in communities across the country.

The professionals in this network offer many care and support programs that were designed with one thing in mind – enhancing quality of life and supporting families impacted by ALS.
