GOODWILL KENTUCKY CARS TO WORK PROGRAM

About the Program: Goodwill Kentucky Cars to Work offers secured auto loans to qualified applicants with no or low credit scores. Our mission is to connect participants with affordable transportation so they can maintain employment, grow in their careers, and achieve self-sufficiency.

Why Goodwill Cars to Work? We are here to help!  We don’t consider credit scores as part of the approval process. We do provide a matched down payment, flat interest rate on all loans and free coaching to help you meet your financial goals. Plus, we will reimburse the interest paid on all loans that are paid in full with no late payments.

The Goodwill Kentucky Cars to Work Program:  Provides down payment assistance to employed Goodwill clients or employees who meet the program requirements. In addition to financial assistance, the program provides financial education and coaching, enabling our clients to learn about methods to enhance their ability to pursue opportunities and resources to build and strengthen their credit.

Participation requirements include: You must be at least 18 years of age / You must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license and social security card / You must be employed full-time for a minimum of 90 days at a minimum wage of $15/hour or have verifiable income from other approved sources / You must be in good standing with your employer with no disciplinary actions in the 30 days prior to the date of application / You must have stable housing for at least six months with proof of on-time payments for rent and utilities / You must be a Goodwill Kentucky employee or be an active member of a Goodwill Kentucky Opportunity Center working with a career coach  / You must have the ability to pay and maintain full coverage auto insurance, annual registration, and general vehicle upkeep costs, in addition to being able to pay the monthly auto loan payment / You must have verified savings to cover half of the vehicle down payment / Other restrictions apply.
