Established in 1971, Growth Works continues to provide our clients with extraordinary support as they navigate substance use treatment and the youth justice system.
Chemical Dependency and Substance Abuse Treatment:
Substance use treatment includes a variety of resources and professionals to meet the needs of individuals struggling with use of mood altering substances. Growth Works has more than 50 years of experience working with youth who are struggling with substance abuse and we continue to expand our services to meet the growing demand for services.
The mission of the Growth Works Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program is to ensure all clients receive appropriate, coordinated care. Our program addresses Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) and any Co-Occurring Disorders (CODs), whether they relate to mental health diagnoses, trauma, and/or criminal behavior.
Youth Justice – Care Management Organization:
The Care Management Organization (CMO) provides case management and supervision services to youth placed on probation through the Third Judicial Circuit Court – Family Division in Wayne County. Wayne County Juvenile & Youth Services partners with the Growth Works Western Wayne CMO to support adjudicated youth as part of the broader Wayne County Juvenile Justice System.
BASE Program:
The Youth Problematic Sexual Behavior (YPSB) services expand the continuum of service options available to youth who have been adjudicated or have identified engagement in problematic sexual behavior. The goal of these services is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for honest disclosure and exploration, specific to their sexual behaviors. The use of evidence-based curriculum such as Good Lives and Pathways will be utilized to support and reinforce concepts discussed and learned in group settings.
