The Emergency Food Pantry

Neighborhood House partners with Dare to Care to provide fresh and nutritious food available to residents of Jefferson County, Kentucky. The pantry is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. As one of the only food pantries in the west end open five days a week, Neighborhood House is proud to offer a wide variety of items every day including pantry staples like canned goods, rice, and beans, and frozen meat. Bread, sweets, fruits, and vegetables are offered when available.

The Four Seasons Senior Program:
At Neighborhood House, senior adults ages 55 and older can join the Four Seasons Senior Program. Members of the Four Seasons enjoy daily activities and opportunities to connect with one another, and fresh nutritious lunches provided by Louisville Metro Senior Nutrition Program.

Friends for Life:
Members of the Four Seasons Senior Program meet every weekday from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Seniors 65 years and older are eligible to receive a free lunch daily.

Seniors enjoy the following activities during their time at Neighborhood House: BINGO / Music therapy / Art and exercise class / Holiday parties / Field trips
