RISE, which stands for Reintegrating Individuals Successfully Every Day, is a job-readiness training program designed to empower individuals who have multiple barriers to obtaining gainful employment. The program gives clients the knowledge they need to reintegrate into the workforce.

RISE covers a broad range of topics, including but not limited to, soft skills, financial literacy, digital literacy, communication skills, resume development and mock interviewing.

Upon completion of the program, clients receive certificates marking their achievements and have the opportunity to earn Work Ready Certification and receive assistance with finding a suitable job. Having been given these opportunities, participants can embark on their next steps to employment and eventually a career path that leads them out of poverty.

RISE Classes are held the second full week of each month and run 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT to 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT.

The Power of Work program, operated by Goodwill Kentucky, matches Kentuckians transitioning off government assistance with employers who need eager, prepared employees. Participants receive job-readiness training and help identifying their skills so they can smoothly transition into employment. Our career coaches offer one-on-one attention and support.
