Services To Enhance Potential (STEP) is a non-profit organization which provides support and services to nearly 1,400 persons with disabilities and other mental health needs in Wayne and Macomb Counties.
STEP Thrift Store and Donation Centers are unique thrift store operations providing work opportunities to individuals with barriers to employment. Your purchases and donations make it possible for over 100 retail intern trainees with disabilities to receive employment training and support every month at our store locations as well as over 1000 other individuals to receive vocational and training services in Washtenaw and Wayne counties. Retail interns will go on to work many different types of jobs in the community and their retail training at STEP Thrift Stores prepares them very well.
All donation-based proceeds are allocated towards the many programs and services created to benefit STEP members. STEP Thrift Store and Donation Centers are owned and operated by Services To Enhance Potential (STEP).
We are currently accepting donations during DONATION HOURS ONLY. Monday-Saturday: 10:00-6:30pm, Sunday: 12:00-4:30pm. If donating furniture, you must call ahead of time to arrange a drop off time.
