The W Food Pantry:
The W Food Pantry provides currently enrolled Wayne State Warriors in need of food assistance with supplemental food and additional resources to enhance student success. The W is excited to be a member of Gleaners Food Bank, Planted Detroit, Eastern Market and Detroit Food Rescue.
Warrior Meal Share Program:
The Warrior Meal Share Program supports currently enrolled Wayne State students by providing meal swipes to reduce food insecurities students may face. Meal swipes are shared by Wayne State students with meal plans who donate their guest meal swipes. Office of Housing & Residential Life, Dining Services & The W Food Pantry have teamed up to create this program with the joint mission of enhancing student success.

The W Thrift Shop is designed to provide gently used garments to any enrolled student free of charge. Our goal is to help relieve the stress of affording clothing & allow scholars to focus more energy creating positive impressions and interactions during class or at an interview. We are available to any enrolled student, and you will need to show your OneCard for access.
What kind of clothing does the Thrift Shop have?
Casual clothing items: Casual attire for class, like jeans, khakis, sweaters, long and short-sleeve shirts
Professional clothing: Business attire for interviews, like suits, dress pants, button down shirts, dresses and blouses
The W Food Pantry and Thrift Shop is open Monday through Friday from noon to 4:30 p.m. when the University is open. For urgent needs that occur after hours between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., please contact the Dean of Students Office at 313-577-1010.
