Family Planning: Education and counseling for healthy lifestyle choices, self-exam, STD/HIV risks and preconception health counseling
STD (Sexually Transmitted Diaease) testing and treatment

Family Planning services are available to everyone regardless of income.   “White Bags” containing condoms are available at the front desk of the health department at no charge.

Immunizations for International Travel:
The health department follows the CDC current recommendations for international travel. The following vaccine is available: Hepatitis A, and Hepatitis B. Charges are based on the current cost of the vaccine. Please call for additional information at 859-873-4541.

Tuberculois (TB):
TB Skin Testing: The health department screens for TB risk factors and tests if appropriate. The cost for a TB Skin Test ia a flat fee. Please call the health department for the current charge (859-873-4541). Follow-up is available for individuals with active TB infection and disease.

What is WIC?
The WIC Program provides healthy foods and nutrition education to individuals that qualify. To qualify for WIC, persons must be nutritionally at-risk and meet income guidelines.
