Who is Eligible?
CAA provides financial management assistance to anyone interested in Lenawee County. There are no income eligibility requirements.
Topics for classes include the following:
1. Communication –making decisions with a spouse or partner who has different priorities/values
2. Spending
3. Creating a Budget Plan – planning for the household spending based on the individual/household priorities
4. Credit Awareness – including how to make arrangements with creditors and establishing credit
5. Predatory Lending – check cashing pros/cons, mortgage scams,
“Buy Here/Pay Here” worth it?
6. Goal Setting – developing realistic goals and sticking to them
7. Basic Banking and Investing– provide as needed banking education
8. Energy Education – reduce energy cost with simple changes, including energy audit (as available)
