The Detroit Area on Aging offers home repair services through the State Medicaid MI Choice Waiver Program or Integrated Care Organization’s MI Health Link program. MI Choice waiver services include
in-home repair as well as caregiving services, nutrition, chore services, and non-emergency medical transportation. Home repair services are reimbursed through Medicaid, allowing seniors and adults
with disabilities to remain independent in their home by modifying their residence to remove barriers, increase mobility, and provide greater freedom in the home environment
