The “Now I Lay Me Down” bed program is a ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe. The program coordinates the purchase & distribution of beds to needy children
in Monroe Co. Volunteers from the church membership and the community deliver the
beds and set them up for the families. Children who receive a bed are also given a new pillow, new or very gently used bedding (sheets, and blankets, or quilts), a stuffed animal, and a book.
