The Metropolitan Detroit Diaper Bank is an organization serving Wayne, Oakland & Macomb Co.’s.
Our mission is to educate and raise the quality of life for our community by providing disenfranchised populations with diapers for infants, children & senior citizens; ensuring that everyone in
the Metro Detroit area can be clean, dry and healthy.
Detroit Alliance for Period Supplies:
The Detroit Alliance for Period Supplies helps ensure that individuals in need have access to essential period products required to fully participate in daily life with dignity and works to
raise awareness about the causes and consequences of “period poverty” in our community.
Incontinence supplies:
Individuals in need of incontinence supplies make a request by calling 313-955-6209.
They will be assigned a week and day to pick up supplies monthly. Each month at an appointed
date and time they will receive notification via email, telephone, or text (their choice of communication) with details of the pickup location.
Toilet Training:
The MDDB Virtual Toilet Training Workshop assists parenting families with diaper-wearing
toddlers to transition to underwear. A request for toilet training can also be made through
the MDDB request line at detroitdiaperbank.com/diapers. Caregivers will be notified of the
next scheduled workshop.
