Transportation (Specialized):
The Specialized Transportation Department provides reliable transportation to non-emergency medical appointments
and treatments for senior and non-senior Monroe County residents with disability for a chronic medical condition.
Many of the transportation vans are equipped with wheelchair lifts with seating for 6-10 passengers. The programs
operate Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon shifts. One week notice is preferred.
