Just one of our programs!
The mission of the Weatherization program continues to be one of assisting clients in achieving a more comfortable living environment and obtaining maximum energy conservation for low-income clients.
Our Weatherization team works to assess the condition of client’s homes using a blower door to give an exact measurement of the home’s efficiency. Qualified homes may be eligible for basic services including:                                                                Identification of air leaks in the home to find where improvements can be made to efficiency
Basic repairs such as caulking and sealing windows and doors or adding weather stripping
Additional insulation may be installed to fight against heat loss and lower energy bills
The PACS Weatherization team in partnership with certified general contractors work to provide meaningful improvements to ensure clients are living in safer and more energy efficient homes. Preference is given to elderly and/or disabled clients who are determined to be in life or health-threatening situations, the homebound, and those most in need.
Serving: Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Lyon, Livingston, Muhlenberg, Todd and Trigg Counties
