PROJECT PURPLE / A World Without Pancreatic Cancer
Patient Financial Aid:
If you or your family are facing financial struggles while battling pancreatic cancer, we’re here to offer a helping hand. At Project Purple, we understand that daily living costs and mounting medical bills don’t stop when a diagnosis is received. With the added physical toll of treatment, many patients are unable to work, further affecting their financial strain. Our patient financial aid program provides vital support for living expenses such as rent, mortgage, utilities, and medical bills pertaining to pancreatic cancer. We go above and beyond by paying bill collectors directly so you can focus on your recovery, not your finances.
Blankets of Hope:
A pancreatic cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, but at Project Purple, we want patients to know they are not alone. That’s why we offer a special care package to provide comfort during treatment. Our signature purple blanket is just the beginning – we also include other carefully curated items to make the journey a little easier. We understand that sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest impact. That’s why we created our Blanket of Hope care package program. Blankets of Hope remind patients that they are valued, loved, and not forgotten. It’s just one small way we can show our support while working towards a cure. Our Blankets of Hope Program provides blankets to patients who apply to our Patient Financial Aid Program with a valid doctor’s note. If any social workers, case workers, or nurse navigators have any questions about this program, please contact zina@projectpurple.org for more information.
