THE KY VISION PROJECT
Since it was established in 1985, Kentucky optometrists have provided approximately $20 million in free vision care to 50,000 low-income Kentuckians through the Kentucky Vision Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.
The Kentucky Vision Project relies solely upon private donations, the volunteer services of Kentucky optometrists, optical laboratories, frame and lens manufacturers and surgical centers.
No volunteers receive compensation for their services or products.
