This website will help those in 6 counties of S.E. Michigan, find the resources they need in the privacy
of their own home or office or even on your phone! This website offers not only well-known agencies in
S.E. Michigan, but private and religious organizations which other “information agencies” do not offer.
Michigan has almost 6,000 non-profits just in S.E. MI alone…..and the very BEST are listed on this site!
The resources listed here are FREE or low-cost and this site is also updated regularly!
The S.E. Michigan area that is covered by this website are Metro Detroit & Wayne County as well as
Lenawee, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland and Washtenaw Counties. Please check the TOP of each webpage
first and then scroll down that webpage to your particular County OR click on the link at the top of the
page leading to those pages. The Counties are listed alphabetical order with the exception of Detroit &
Metro Detroit resources which are always listed first (since this website was originally made for them).
I created this website also because I believe that EVERYONE should have access to information regarding
help & resources regardless of their educational level and/or abilities or socio-economic factors. This is
especially true for the average middle-class family who would have no idea where to turn to in a crisis.
Hopefully, this website will help everyone weather a crisis in a better way than they would have before the website’s creation.
