CLIENTS SERVED:  The Cade Foundation is a nonprofit that serves the needs of families battling infertility through infmation and financial support. We are a part of the United Way and Federated Charitable Campaign.

DESCRIPTION:  Provides information, support and financial assistance to help needy infertile families OVERCOME infertility.

SERVICES / PROGRAMS:       

Casey Family Fund:
In 2024, Elizabeth and Trevor Casey, with the generous support of friends and family, established The Casey Family Grant through the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation. After experiencing firsthand the emotional and financial toll of infertility, IVF and miscarriage, the couple felt strongly about giving back to help make fertility treatments more accessible to all.

Family Building Grant:
The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation™ Family Building Grant is an annual award that provides up to $10,000 to needy, infertile families. These grants assist with the costs associated with infertility treatment or domestic adoption. Family Building Grants can take the form of a cash award that is payable directly to the clinic or agency or a medication award that will be sent to the fertility clinic of the recipient. The grants are available for medical treatment of infertility and child adoption.

Dr. Stephen Greenhouse GRANT:
In 2018, the physician staff and patients of Shady Grove Fertility established the Dr. Stephen Greenhouse Grant through the Tinina Q Cade Foundation. This grant, specifically designated for a Shady Grove Fertility patient, is held to honor the memory and legacy of Dr Steven Greenhouse, a SGF physician and leader who died in an accident in July of 2018. Dr. Greenhouse endlessly and tirelessly devoted his life’s work to the benefit of his patients, particularly in supporting them through the challenges that come with pursuing treatment.

SAVANNAH GRANT:
This grant, specifically designated for a Shady Grove Fertility patient, is in honor of Savannah Caroline Pereira, a SGF baby who tragically died in March 2010. For applicants interested in the Savannah Grant, there is no need to fill out any additional paperwork. The Savannah Grant is restricted to Shady Grove Fertility patients and therefore all Shady Grove Fertility applicants are automatically entered into the pool for both general Cade Foundation Family Building Grants as well as the Family Building Grant restricted for the Savannah Grant. The grant will provide up to $10,000 for fertility treatment at Shady Grove Fertility.
