Affirmations Angels:
Affirmations Angels (Aff Angels) is a senior services program modeled after a successful response to
the AIDS crisis of the 1980s-1990s where individuals recognized a need, rolled up their sleeves, swall-
owed their fears, ignored the stigmas and opposition and provided needed care and services for those
living with HIV/AIDS in the early days of the disease.

In partnership with SAGE of Metro Detroit, the Aff Angels Volunteer Corps will provide culturally-com-
petent general non-medical assistance to LGBTQ+ seniors for their daily needs – such as grocery
shopping, transportation to doctor appointments, pickup of medications, light laundry, light meal prep
or simply providing company and fellowship to the often-marginalized members of the community.

Also provide Hygiene, sexual health and PPE kits.
