CLIENTS SERVED: Detroit residents who own vehicles registered in the City of Detroit.

DESCRIPTION: Allows Detroit-registered vehicle owners to receive a reduced fine for qualifying Expired Meter and No Parking violations.

PROGRAMS/SERVICES:

• Parking Fine Reduction: Reduced fines for eligible Expired Meter and No Parking parking violations. To qualify, the vehicle must be registered in Detroit, the owner must have no more than 1 unpaid Detroit parking ticket (including the new ticket) and the qualifying ticket must be paid within five calendar days of issuance.

HOW TO ACCESS SERVICES:

Register online at the through the Detroit Discount application page. Enter the vehicle’s license plate before paying the ticket. Registration must be processed before the ticket is paid. For assistance, call 313-925-7860.
