The Ear Community is a nonprofit organization that donates bone anchored hearing systems (BAHS) to
those in need and who have been denied coverage by insurers for these hearing devices. Ear Community
also helps reimburse audiologists through Pax’s Ear Fund for the fitting and programming fee when
patients are denied coverage by their insurers for this service for BAHS devices.

Thanks to our donors and contributors, the Ear Community Organization can help give back by making
the gift of hearing possible for many. The Ear Community Organization has been proud to help children
and adults hear their best since 2012, regardless of age!

Services and Eligibility:
The Ear Community donates NEW BAHS devices to individuals who were born with microtia and aural atresia. To be eligible, applicants must have microtia and or aural atresia. Must be able to provide proof of lower income and a denial letter from insurance. Applicants must not have a BAHS previously as upgrades cannot be provided.
