An MDHHS sponsored program in which households located within Faucet and Filter Safety Net communities with children and/or pregnant persons enrolled in Medicaid may receive:

• Home visit and visual plumbing assessment.
• Lead-reducing filter and replacement cartridges.
• Single faucet replacement.
• Assistance with signing up for Medicaid Lead Abatement program which will address lead hazards in the home.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. A child under 19 on Medicaid or a pregnant Medicaid enrollee lives there, and
2. The home is located within one of the designated Faucet and Filter Safety Net Cities listed above.
3. The home has – or may have – lead plumbing such as:
   • Lead or galvanized plumbing.
   • A lead service line connecting the home to the street.
   • Faucets or fittings sold before 2014.

Homes served by private wells may also have lead-containing plumbing and may be eligible to receive support.
