Gleaners continues to serve our partners and those in need. We have expanded our food distribution efforts to include additional drive-up mobile sites across our service area in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties. New information, including location, hours, and services, will be updated as it is confirmed.

Gleaners is reaching out to organizations serving seniors in Wayne, Oakland, & Macomb counties to offer monthly food boxes through the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). The food boxes are similar to what is currently offered through Focus: HOPE. However, there are still seniors struggling to get food in our community and Gleaners wants to help. Depending on the capacity of the organization, Gleaners can assist with the paperwork to get seniors enrolled in the CSFP program and begin receiving food from them each month. They also have a working relationship with DoorDash, who could deliver the food from their warehouse right to seniors’ doors if needed.
