DESCRIPTION: Live6 Alliance is a neighborhood-based community planning and development organization focused on economic development, housing stability, neighborhood revitalization, and quality of life in Northwest Detroit. It works as a convener and coordinator among residents, businesses, institutions, and other community partners.

SERVICES / PROGRAMS:

• Resident Investment & Opportunity Fund (RIO Fund): Provides assistance to eligible homeowners with critical home repairs, including roofs, furnaces/HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, accessibility modifications for seniors, health and safety improvements, and exterior repairs. The program also provides heirs-property assistance, property-tax relief and foreclosure-prevention support, financial coaching, and resource navigation.
• Heirs Property Support: Helps families resolve title and ownership issues, navigate probate, establish clear property ownership, and protect family homes and intergenerational wealth.
• Property Tax Relief & Foreclosure Prevention: Provides assistance with property-tax exemption applications, tax payment plans, delinquent-tax resolution, foreclosure-prevention counseling, financial coaching, and referrals.
• Community Tech Consultations: Provides free one-on-one technology support and training through its Community Tech Consultant program.
• Neighborhood HomeBase: A neighborhood hub at 7426 W. McNichols offering community meetings, workshops, resource navigation, and other neighborhood programming.
• Neighborhood & Economic Development: Works on corridor revitalization, placemaking, preservation, small-business support, and neighborhood investment.
