The Hardship Assistance Program can help eligible Oakland County residents who get their water from a municipal water system (not a private well). The program provides emergency relief funds f0r residents who may not qualify for other programs. Fund may be used to:

• Help pay a current water or sewer bill for up to three months
• Reduce or eliminate past-due balances
• Cover essential plumbing repairs needed to keep service running smoothly

A limited amount of funds are available. Households can receive up to $2,000 or more on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if you’re not sure you would qualify, you are strongly encouraged to apply.
