Since its founding, Open Door Outreach Center has grown to support residents from 14 zip codes in Oakland County which include, Waterford, White Lake, West Bloomfield, Commerce, Wolverine Lake, Orchard Lake, Walled Lake, Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake and portions of Wixom.

Crisis Assistance:
Open Door Outreach Center meets with potential clients to qualify and determine their needs. Clients facing evictions, utility shutoffs, transportation issues, or medical problems are provided financial assistance and or referrals in the community as funding permits.

Clothing Program/Client Choice Food Pantry: 
Open Door Outreach Center provides vouchers to qualifying families and individuals 3-4 times a year to be used for at our Thrift Store for household needs and clothing. Low-income families or individuals in need can receive gently-used, clean, seasonal clothing, coats, shoes, and household items at no cost. Vouchers are available 3-4 times per year/seasonally or as needed. Current qualifying clients typically* shop monthly from our Client Choice Food Pantry much like a grocery store choosing the items they need. *Frequency of shopping can vary depending upon the client’s situation.
