CLIENTS SERVED: Individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, hunger, housing instability, homelessness, and other emergencies.

St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky is a Catholic lay organization that provides person-to-person assistance to neighbors in need. Volunteers may visit clients in their homes to assess needs and provide material, emotional, and spiritual support, with the goal of helping people move toward greater stability. Services are provided through a network of 31 parish-based St. Vincent de Paul conferences, and eligibility varies by program.

SERVICES & PROGRAMS:

• Food & Hygiene: Food assistance through three food pantries in Erlanger, Cold Spring, and Falmouth, as well as hygiene supplies.
• Rent & Utility Assistance: Assistance with rent and utility bills for eligible households. Requests are handled through the Help Line (859) 341-3219 and may involve a home visit.
• Clothing, Housewares & Furniture: Clothing and household goods are available to people in need through SVdP’s thrift-store network.
• Beds: Beds are available for children under 16, people with disabilities, and seniors age 65+.
• Medical Equipment Loan Closet: Provides donated medical equipment at no cost for temporary use during home recovery when other sources are unavailable. Items may include wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs/benches, transfer benches, bedside commodes, canes, and toilet-seat risers. Availability varies.
• Homeless Assistance: The Homeless Assistance Program can provide up to three nights in a hotel, food, and other basic necessities for people experiencing homelessness while they work toward a plan for stability.
• Fans & Air Conditioners: Seasonal heat-relief assistance provides new AC units and fans to people of any age with a documented medical condition such as asthma or COPD. The program operates June 2–August 31, while supplies last.
• Holiday Assistance: Seasonal assistance programs help individuals and families during the holidays.
