CLIENTS SERVED: Children, youth, adults, families, and individuals with mental, physical, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
DESCRIPTION: Spectrum Human Services is a nonprofit organization with affiliated organizations providing services focused on children and families, mental health, developmental disabilities, substance-use treatment, juvenile justice, independent living, and workforce development.
SERVICES & PROGRAMS:
- Child & Family Services: Foster care, adoption, family preservation, in-home services, and community-based support for children, youth, and families.
- Mental Health & Substance-Use Services: Counseling, outpatient treatment, substance-use prevention and treatment, and services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance-use disorders.
- Developmental Disability & Community Living Services: Adult foster care, supported independent living, community living supports, self-determination, enhanced health services, and support coordination for individuals with intellectual, developmental, physical, or mental disabilities..
- Juvenile Justice Services: Residential treatment and short-term detention services for justice-involved youth..
- Youth Transition & Independent Living: Assistance with employment, housing, education, life skills, and community resources for eligible youth transitioning toward independence.
- Workforce Development: Employment and career services are provided through Operation ABLE of Michigan, a Spectrum affiliate serving mature workers and other populations. Services include job listings, job placement, career counseling, occupational training, and financial stability support.
