The Holloran Trust Fund, established in 1967, provides assistance to persons who are legally blind in both eyes and who live in Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby and Hardin Counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark County Indiana.
The Fund pays for such things as medical bills, rent, clothing, house repairs, household appliances, but may also assist in purchasing assistive devices.
Eligibility Requirements and Application Process:
Applicants must be legally blind and reside in Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby and Hardin Counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark County Indiana.                 A verification of financial need and legal blindness must be provided with the application.
Requests for help are considered by a committee of Lions Club members selected to manage the fund under the direction of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. Request an application by phone or mail.
