CLIENTS SERVED:  Serves MI residents who are experiencing housing instability during or after substance abuse use treatment.

DESCRIPTION: The Recovery Housing Assistance Fund will offer financial assistance to individuals or families experiencing housing instability during or after substance use treatment.

SERVICES / PROGRAMS:  This funding can be used to: Prevent homelessness by covering costs such as rental arrears, utility arrears, and property taxes. End homelessness by assisting with expenses like security deposits and first month’s rent. Expected to serve between 950 and 1,000 people (with an average $2,600 expenditure) but folks can request up to $4,000.

HOW TO APPLY:  These funds must be authorized directly to a verified vendor or service provider.
